7/10. Carnival Freedom is a solid ship for its size and easy to navigate, with plenty of activities. Food was average; main dining was above average, while the buffet often lacked flavor. Guy’s Burgers and pizza had long lines, but the omelet bar was excellent. Staff ranged from outstanding to just going through the motions. Serenity Deck was peaceful, and the Colombian electric violinists on Deck 3 were a highlight. Spa prices were high and had pushy sales people.
